First Level Intra-building surge tests for coaxial ports This test applies to both grounded and ungrounded coaxial ports. The 1.2x50/8x20 surge generator with a 2-ohm internal impedance (as defined in IEEE C62.41.2) will be connected through an external non-inductive 3-ohm resistor to the EUT. The open circuit voltage shall be 1500 V. This surge shall be applied one time in each polarity.
