DC Application Varistor Design Guide 2015 Littelfuse DC Application Varistor Design Guide About the LV UltraMOV Varistor Series The LV UltraMOV Varistor Low Voltage, High Surge Current Varistor Series provides an ideal circuit protection solution for lower DC voltage applications by offering a superior surge rating in a smaller disc size. The maximum peak surge current rating can reach up to 10kA (8/20s pulse) to protect against high peak surges, including lightning strike interference, electrical fast transients on power lines, and inductive spikes in industrial applications.
